This was our camp sight and pop up.
Such a good uncle!
It was pretty windy and chilly so Jill bundled Kaylie up and used an umbrella to block the wind.
So...the first night we were there we were by the fire and heard Jackson growling (he never growls). We shinned the flashlight and saw a skunk. I've never seen a skunk that close before. These stupid drunk teenage girls that were camping next to us thought it would be fun to chase it. Luckily they didn't get sprayed and the skunk ran away.
The next night when Jill and Jason were there we heard our trash bag move. When we looked back the damn skunk was running away. He tried to get into our trash. This picture is proof for those of you non-believers. :) Yes...I'm a dork.
I kid you not, a little later the stupid skunk came back. Jackson started growling and we saw it right by the tent at the next site. I was pretty tipsy so I sort-of chased it off (right after I said how stupid those teenage girls were the night before).
Shortly after we had settled down by the fire Jackson started growling again. The stinkin' skunk came back and was under our pop up. By this time I was feeling pretty really tipsy, and had a water bottle in my hand. I guess it was just instinct to chuck the water bottle at it. He ran away and didn't come back...or so we think. I thought it would be a good idea (in my "tipsy-ness" to reenact the whole thing for you non-believers. Yes...I still know I'm a dork.
Stupid, damn skunk!!!!!
